Hey, this is a section to talk about all of Danae's books and talk about your books in general, Did Danae's books inspire you to write your own books?
And just chat and ask questions to Danae, my first question for Danae is: Do you have any other books that you have sorta started, or brainstormed up that you haven't told us about. {books that we don't know anything about.}
Yup. There is a big list of those started. Frankenstein's monster goes to high school.
Um.....angel, daemonica, nephilim immortal hunter action adventure.
There is a paranormal spy one that i am working on.
And a split pov that is about a Guardian from another world that is escorting a girl back to their world, but it isn't as it seems, it is kind of like a steam-punk without being balls out steam-punk
here is a tid bit from it. It isn't balls out edited, and it is a work in progress with lots to be added. but whatever.
Princess
What a dump. The least he could have done was take me somewhere with air conditioning for Christ sakes, Jesus it is hot! I went from snow in the Northeast to the sweltering hellish heat of this godforsaken world that this pompous jerk has dragged me to.
“You can take the bedroom, I will keep watch in the living room.”
I rolled my eyes, “Oh come on, there is plenty of room in this lumpy bed for both of us. No need for you to be all inconvenienced by lil ol’ me.” As usual my sarcasm wasn’t missed. He slammed the door shut uttering profanities, at least that is what I’ve come to understand them to be, loudly as he moved furniture to block the front door. “Paranoid jack ass,” I mumbled under my breath while pulling my clothes off.
Summer is my least favorite season and this world is constantly summer a hundred times over. It isn’t bad enough that I only have the clothes on my back but these clothes are heavy for winter so I’m sweating my ass off in them. Luckily this hole has a pass through bathroom attached to the room so I went to clean up and wash my clothes out in the sink, it is one thing to be sweaty but to be in dirty clothes is another.
While I scrubbed with the, what I think is a bar of soap, it smelled like one anyways, against my shirt I studied my face in the mirror. For walking miles in a land with three suns you’d think that I would have gotten a tan or sunburn but no, I’m still nearly transparently white. Captain Jackass in the other room is a delicious tan color that looks amazing on him, of course. Just another thing to add to the long list of ‘I can’t stand about you but I totally find sexy even though you’re a prick in every way shape and form’. What is that, seventy or eighty things on the list so far and we haven’t even hit day two yet! This kid is an over achiever.
“Is it safe to take a shower or is the water going to try to kill me?” I called out. The other door leading into the tiny bathroom smashed into me, “What the hell?” I screamed pushing the door shut on him.
Am I hearing things? Is he actually laughing? I wrapped a towel around myself and pulled the door open, “What are you laughing at?” I demanded.
“You.”
“Bite me,” I slammed the door in his face getting another roar of laugher in return.
I didn’t know that Captain Ass Hat could laugh. “The water won’t kill you unless you somehow manage to drown yourself in the shower, and if you do that I will make ever attempt possible to revive you.” He laughed again, “That also means that I’d get to see you naked, again, and would be putting my hands all over your chest in order to push the water out of your lungs.” He laughed while I screamed an incoherent growl of frustration, I was actually jumping up and down like a damn child. This amused him even more, “Do I need to make you a flotation device or something?”
“Go to hell!” I screamed. I really hate this guy. Not only am I not allowed to call him by his name, Seven, he makes me call him by his title, Guardian. What the hell is that? I hate this guy!
Guardian
Okay that was funny. Echo is such an amusing child, strictly in a she needs bent over my knee and given a good spanking way. Why is she such a pain in the ass? I guess I should expect no less from a pampered princess that grew up in the human world. Still, this isn’t anything that my training prepared me for. Would the Elders be pissed if I tied her up and shipped her to them? Put a sock in that ever running mouth of hers?
I have to admit, the little girl is hot. Usually I don’t find pale brunettes attractive but she is very agreeable as long as she keeps her mouth shut. Luck would have it that I caught a glimpse of her naked in the mirror before she freaked out. I would have never thought that hiding under those oversize clothes was a tone body.
Stop it Seven, you can’t think like that. You are her Guardian and Guardians are not allowed relationships. Complete the mission, deliver the princess and move on. Stop finding her attractive.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The voices of reason are always so goal orientated. If they had genitals they would see the flaw in their reasoning.
I knocked on the bathroom door once I heard the shower start, “Are you concealed?”
“Yes.”
“I have to use the bathroom,” I informed her.
“Whatever,” was Echo’s short response.
One thing I’ve noticed about Princess Never Shuts Up is she doesn’t freak out about most things that girls from the human world usually freak out about; boys pissing around them, spitting, cussing, lewd sexual references, blood. It is kind of strange but nice at the same time. Echo is very blunt, if she has to piss she will tell you and not worry about trying to conceal herself while using a tree as a loo. More often than not she embarrasses me. It is like there are two people in her head. One that is hot as hell, confident, amusing, one of the guys, strong and independent. And the other is a pain in the ass that wants everything her way, is prissy and pampered, annoying and complains non-stop. I’ve yet to figure out a way to shut up the second personality so I can enjoy the first. Maybe that is a good thing. If I am around the first more than I am I would totally fall for her then I’d be screwed and not in the good way.
“Sorry about the door,” I said washing my hands in the sink.
“No you’re not.”
“I don’t say things I don’t mean,” I snapped back. I hate it when people tell me what the hell I mean or don’t mean. I wiped the steam off of the mirror and instantly wish I hadn’t. The shower curtain wasn’t sheer but it wasn’t completely solid either. Echo’s silhouette was clearly visible. She was standing in the water, arms out in front of her bracing herself against the shower wall as the water cascaded over her curvy body.
“Typically when someone laughs after they assault someone with a wooden weapon, in this case a door, they are not remorseful. The bruising will go away in a couple of days but the emotional scars will last a lifetime.”
Damn. The Echo that I like is back. This isn’t good.
Get out before you do something stupid like climb in there with her!
That is a good idea now that you mention it.
It wasn’t a suggestion, get the hell out!
“How much longer are you going to be in there?”I asked ignoring my inner voice of reason.
The curtain pulled back enough for her to look at me, “Why, are you hot and sweaty? Maybe I will just use all of the hot water, let you have a cold shower, it’d serve you right.” And the bitch is back. “Since you gave me the bed I will leave you some water. Did you want to get in now?”
Yes.
No.
Shut up.
No. Keep to the mission at hand.
Just a little shower? What will that hurt?
A lot. You are a Guardian not a damn Companion.
Damn conscious.
“In a bit,” I reluctantly said. “I need to get supplementation before it gets dark. Can you stay out of trouble for partial turn?”
Echo’s head tilted to the side, “Partial turn?”
Damn human world, “A half hour.”
“I don’t know,” she admitted. “I might accidentally start a war or blow up the world in an attempt to make popcorn in the microwave.”
And the fun Echo is back.
“I don’t think I need to worry about that,” I laughed. “There is no popcorn in this world and this hotel is way too off the grid to have modern convinces like molecular heat boxes. Just don’t answer the door and stay away from the windows.”
“You’re no fun,” she pouted turning the water off.
“Behave please.”
Echo raised an eyebrow, “Please huh? I will have to mark that one on my calendar, you finally said please and here I thought it was an abstract term from my world. So you weren’t raised by wolves. Good to know.”
I ignored her snub. “If I’m not back by the time the suns set, light the candles. It may be hot during the day but it is below freezing at night. Make sure you bundle up, I don’t want to find an Echo-cicle.”
“Whatever, towel?” she held her hand out expectantly so I tossed her a washcloth and hurried out of the bathroom. “Jerk!” she called out but she giggled at the same time.
Can Echo stay out of trouble for a partial turn? I doubt it. She never listens to me so I don’t know why she’d start now. I should have tied her to the bed. Then again, that could be fun.
Keep it apropos, she is the princess you are a half-breed Guardian. You are not allowed to be a Companion because of your stature. Stop getting our hopes up.
Hope. That is something I’ve never had. Hybrids are born and immediately put into position and marked as Guardians. Oh well. She doesn’t like me like that anyways. She can’t stand me and that is more than obvious.
Princess
Mr. Know-it-all is bossing me around as usual. What does he know? Well, a lot considering this is his world. But there is no way that it gets that damn cold here, it is still like a hundred degrees! Whatever. He can light his own damn candles.
It is too hot to sleep in anything other than panties. They are dry by now after washing them in the sink. That is the only thing I wish I had more of, well I wish I had more of a lot of things, but mainly underwear. I hate wearing the same pair for more than one day, it grosses me out. There are many little quirks about me that are ridiculous but that is in the top ten, possibly top three, I haven’t decided yet.
I hate this! Stupid heat! My hair is sticking to me like an annoying second skin, it is asphyxiating me slowly. Walking more than twenty miles today kicked my ass, my feet are killing me, my legs are on fire, and my back feels like someone beat me with a damn stick. I’m not overly girlie but I’ve never been an avid walker or hiker. If I asked Seven for a foot or back rub would he? I doubt it, he’d probably just smack me in the ass and call it good, though that sounds agreeable as well.
No, stop it.
Whatever, stupid voice of reason.
Seven is very yummy; tall, broad shoulders, tan, honey colored hair that glows in the sunlight like a halo even though he is the farthest thing from an angel, full lips that are constantly pulled into a grimace, his eye….oh his eyes are the most spectacular thing about him. I didn’t notice them until we got on this god forsaken world, but now that I see them clearly I am hypnotized; dark sapphire rings that blend into teal that blends into bright green that blend into gold around the pupil. The coloring alone is amazing but what is even more dramatic than the odd four hues is the little twirling patterns that paint his iris’s, they remind me of delicate tribal tattoos only their coloring is a shade slightly lighter then the color it is cutting through. They are amazing. Seven tries to not make eye contact with me, he usually looks past me or to the ground. Is it an order not to make eye contact with me or is he disgusted with my very presence that he doesn’t want to lower himself to my level by making eye contact? I’m sure that is it.
Stupid boy.
Guardian
There wasn’t much to get in the immediate area and I wasn’t going to risk Jumping in order to find Echo something more to her liking so she will have to make due. I’m sure she will complain regardless of what I bring her.
When I got back to the hotel the room was black. Damn it woman, can’t you follow one simple direction? Are lighting candles that difficult? The suns will be down in less than five minutes and you don’t want to be inviting the creatures of the dark to your door step. What if something happened? Did they find her?
Crap.
I Jumped into the living room and quickly took inventory. The barricade is still in front of the door and nothing is out of place. “Princess?” I called out dropping the supplementation to the floor. A soft moan came from the bedroom, is that a good moan or a bad moan?
Only one way to find out, so I quickly headed into the bedroom but it was black, she had covered the window with something. My eyes adjusted to the darkness enough that I was able to locate the candles next to the bed on the nightstand. After striking a match and lit the candle I found the source of the moaning.
Echo was stretched across the bed on her back, all of the covers kicked on the floor. Doing the exact opposite of what I asked, she lay there in only a pair of white cotton panties. Quickly I looked away but I couldn’t help but look again. She was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
Okay, we’re screwed.
You can say that again.
We’re screwed.
I didn’t mean say it again literally.
She is so pale, nearly blending into the white sheet, and her dark hair wrapped around her neck and splayed across the pillow. The contrast of white and dark was beautiful. I never noticed before but her hair is slightly curly and looks soft, like satin ribbons. Echo’s arms were positioned strategically so they covered just enough of her breasts that you didn’t see anything more than the profile and contours which was more than any man would need to see to cause issues and internal conflict. I just noticed what a long waisted she has, then again I’ve tried to make it a point not to look at her; long and slender with small muscle indention leading down to her….stop, I have to stop.
But I thought we were having so much fun?
Oh shut the hell up. For once you are not helping.
You realize you are arguing with yourself right?
Yes.
In the candle light Echo looked softer somehow, her skin is calling out for me to touch it, caress it, feel its silky textured under my fingers.
Stop!
This woman is driving me insane, I’m even arguing with myself. That is the first sign of insanity. This woman, no, this little girl will not control or change me. She is nothing more than a mission, an objective, an assignment.
That is all she will be to me.
Princess
It was all just a bad, very disturbing dream. My aunt and uncle are fine, my parents died when I was a child, and I am not being held captive on some strange planet by some weirdo that thinks he is a Guardian and ordered to protect me. I really need to stop eating so much junk food before bed. Softly I sighed, I didn’t want to open my eyes and face the day, because I was way too comfortable. Suddenly my body was being constricted and pulled slightly forward, what the hell?
My eyes shot open and fought to dilate in the dark room but it was more than clear what is in front of me, Seven; my face was pressed against the soft spot between his shoulder and chest, his strong arms encircling me, holding my nearly naked body against his. The heat radiating between us was almost as intoxicating as the sensation of his body against mine.
Okay this is weird, how the hell did this happen? Did we have sex? No my underwear are still on. The candles burning next to the bed and only halfway burned away so it must be early in the morning still. Crap, I can see my breath, so he was right. Being the stubborn ass that I am, I went to bed naked because it was so hot and he must have crawled in here to heat my nearly frozen ass up.
Huh, if I would have known that was all it took to get him naked I would have done this the first time I saw him. Okay maybe not but still, whoa, he is even most delicious looking undressed. Is it wrong that I want to pull my fingers through his golden curls?
Yes.
Is it wrong that I think he smells absolutely delicious even though he smells like work and sweat mixed with something earthly that I can’t name?
Yes.
Would he get mad if I brushed my lips against his?
Hell yeah he would. Why ruin the moment?
Good point. I nestled myself against his body even more, my face burying against his neck and his arms constricted around me again as his muscular leg split mine, his kneed pushing against my butt so I was riding higher on him and even tighter against his muscular body. His slightly calloused fingers caressed up my back to my neck before burying into my hair where they softly knotted as he grabbed a handful of hair. A soft sigh escaped from his throat before he relaxed his hold on me. “Echo,” he murmured causing my heart to race impossibly fast.
Oh, this is bad.
Guardian
I’m dreaming of a job, of an assignment, but not just any assignment, I’m dreaming of the only living member of the royal family! What in the hell is wrong with me?
Lots but that is just an introspective observation.
Shut the hell up, you are not helping. You used to be the good little annoyance that sat on my shoulder telling me to be a good little boy and accept the life that I was born into and to just be happy to be alive. What happened to you?
I grew a pair. You will do what you think is right regardless of what I think or say. Just be happy that you got a good night sleep and you didn’t dream of killing anyone. That is a first if I do recall.
True. You have a point there.
Damn it, why am I talking to myself again? I hate this.
Echo softly whimpered drawing my attention to her face, is she hurt? Her bottom lip is pouting out as creases of concern blemished her perfect marble like complexion. Is she okay? Tenderly I smoothed out the indention between her eyes with my thumbs getting a soft moan in return and the corners of her mouth to turn upwards.
“I like this Seven better,” she softly moaned before dragging her fingers through my hair wrapping the large curls that had formed from the shower last night around her fingers. “He’s less of a jerk,” she softly explained.
Is she sleeping? “Hey, are you awake?”
“No.”
I laughed causing a smile to pull across her face and her eyes clench shut. “We need to get going.”
“But I don’t want to go to school today,” she whined. Okay, I’m confused. Is she sleeping or awake? Echo pouted out her bottom lip again before pulling her eyes open and looked at me. “I will get up if you tell me something,” she whispered twirling my hair around her fingers. “Can you do that for me?”
This isn’t good, that is a loaded request. “Depends.”
“Of course,” she said positioning herself so she was looking me in the eyes. I tried to look away but the intensity burning in her eyes had me locked in her gaze. “I’m assuming last night it got cold and you were only trying to keep me from freezing to death,” I nodded. “What would you do differently?”
What the hell does that mean?
She is giving you an out, just end it now.
“I would have made you get up and put clothes on,” I said coldly breaking eye contact with her.
Echo’s fingers continued to twirl my curls around them, “Guardian,” she started and I instantly cringed and froze, I hate hearing her call me that. “The next time you feel the need to lie to me please know that I can tell when you are lying and when you are not.”
My eyes snapped to hers, “Excuse me?”
“Seven, I know when you are lying and when you are not. Intent seems to be registering with me on some higher level of consciousness.”
This isn’t good. She is remembering too quickly. I have to get her out of here.
“Princess, we need to go now.” I told her with an urgency in my voice that caused her to look at me curiously.
“Only if you call me Echo.”
I shook my head, “I can’t. You don’t understand, I can’t call you that.”
A smirk pulled at the corner of her mouth, “You did last night in your sleep.”
Uh oh. This isn’t good. You should tell her.
No, shut up. She is a mission, an objective.
I slid out from under her and got a pouting disappointed look in return. Damn it! This isn’t good. “Princess, you don’t understand. There are rules and right now I’m breaking a good deal of them. I can’t call you by name and you can’t call me by name. It…it is just how it is,” I half-assed explained pulling my pants on. “Please get dressed.” Great, I’ve resorted to begging, lovely. Only this women can demasculinize me!
“The rules are stupid,” she pouted sounding just like a little kid and it made me laugh under my breath. If only she knew the reason for the rules, who made these ridiculous rules, and why.
I handed her my tank top so she could put something less heavy on for the trek today. “I will bring you something to eat.”
“Can you add three or four more hours of sleep to that order?” she asked dragging her fingertips down my back.
The sensation caused my breath to catch in my throat and I shuddered.
Enough.
For once I agree little buddy.
Princess
I seriously don’t want to get up. I am way too comfortable in his strong arms. Why can’t he be from my world? The meeting would have been better, instead of a kidnapping and murder, we would have met at a frat party or in class. I’d be allowed to call him Seven, instead of a stupid title, he’d be able to call me by name instead of that stupid ass pet name, Princess. I hate that, my aunt and uncle used to call me that. Ugh!
When I pulled his shirt over my head I drew a deep breath through my nose, god he smells so good. The pillow I put in the small window was blocking out most of the light from the morning suns but the room was starting to heat up already. I threw my legs over the edge of the bed, what am I doing? Trying to seduce the unwilling. What is wrong with me?
I started towards the bathroom when the room started to turn and move around me. My head felt….funny.
Confidently I strolled through the darkened corridors toward the dungeon. Each person I passed bowed paying their respects and those that did never got a chance to make the same mistake twice. My blades are impossibly fast and their aim is perfect. When I entered through the doors to the dungeon my second in command greeted me.
“Princess,” he bowed taking my jacket.
“Mar'truse,” I nodded. “Who do we have this lovely day to play with?” I asked already bored. There isn’t much in this mundane existence that entertains me anymore. Most of the revolutionaries have already captured and killed. The war with the Versipellis ended rather quickly considering it has been building for centuries.
“Just some Guardians starting their training, would you like to observe?” Mar’truse shrugged apologetically, he knows I rather be killing.
I waved my hand at him dismissively and headed across the dirty, blood tainted dungeon. Quickly I walked through the underground passageway that led to the training facility on the other side of the complex. The sound of dripping water was the only thing in the tunnel, my foot falls are silent and my breathing is practically non-existent. Halfway to my destination a familiar smell mixed with the earthed scent of the watery tunnel.
From a shadowy nook a hand grabbed my arm but I was faster and pulled him out of the darkness spinning him around causing his back to smash against the back of the tunnel. Slowly I twisted his arm as I pressed my body against his. I looked up at him through thick lashes while caressing my nose along his jaw, “Hello Guardian,” I greeted seductively.
The Guardian swallowed loudly and winced as I twisted his arm even more. “Princess,” he said through clenched teeth.
Impossibly fast he reversed the direction of his arm in my hand and spun me around smashing my back into the stone wall, flashes of white filled my vision. Now it was his turn to use the advantage. He grabbed both of my wrists in his large hand and pulled them above my head pinning them to the wall while his other hand caressed down my face and neck, across my breast and down my waist. Softly I moaned, I hate it when he does this to me, controls my body. It is the only time in my life that I’m not in control and I hate it but love it in a twisted perverse way.
His full lips caressed along my jaw, making their way to my neck where he softly bit causing my heart to race and my breathing to quicken. He released my wrists as his mouth ventured down to my chest, his tongue tracing their contours, my hands knotting in his long brown hair. Without even trying he easily brings my body to levels of ecstasy that no other lover has ever been able to achieve. Aggressively his hands slipped down my waist grabbing my hip, thrusting me tightly against his.
Damn it!
The sound of footsteps in the distance pulled us apart, so for good measure I punched him in the jaw with an evil pulling at the corner of my mouth. “Princess,” he smirked wiping the blood off of the corner of his full lips.
“Guardian,” I answered curtly before continuing to my destination adjusting my corset and flipping my long blue hair over my shoulder. Stupid boys.
Guardian
I can’t let her get to me. This is wrong on so many levels. I have to stop. Treat her coldly, that is what I have to do. Damn it! What is she doing to me? Before I could wrap my mind around it a thud came from the bedroom. Instantly I was at the door.
“Princess, are you okay?” I asked knocking on the door but there was no reply. Damn it. Instantly I started to panic because something was wrong, it felt wrong. I pushed through the bedroom door harder than needed ripping it partially from the frame. The room was empty aside from the girl laying on the floor convulsing.
I rushed to Echo pulling her shaking sweat covered body into my arms. “Princess, can you hear me?” I asked while I brushed the hair from her face. What do I do? What is wrong with her? Is she sick or something? Damn it, this isn’t right. “Princess can you hear me?” I said loudly while I softly slapped her cheek. Why am I hitting her?
Echo’s body started to slow its convulsions but it still shook and jerked in my arms. Her complexion was paler than usual, almost with a gray green pallor. “Echo, can you hear me?” I whispered caressing her face. Slowly her eyes opened and rolled around in her head. “Stay with me, Echo.” I pleaded.
A smile pulled at the corners of her mouth, “Seven,” she whispered before her eyes lolled shut again.
Oh hell, this isn’t good.
Once I got Echo awake again I hastily dressed her, she was completely out of it. I don’t have time to try to figure this out because we need to get moving and fast. I practically had to drag her to the main office of the Inn, she was looking around at everything as if it was the first time she’d seen it. I guess it was but still she has no sense of urgency.
I need to get her some less conspicuous clothing but I haven’t the crown for that. Staying off the radar wasn’t something I was prepared for. Crown was something that Zeff was the handler of. Who would have thought that they’d be able to wipe out the entire protection detail? Not us obviously.
“Forty crown,” the Inn keeper informed me.
“That is four times more than rate,” I argued.
“You want off the grid you pay for off the grid, forty crown.” The toothless bastard smirked. That is all I have.
Suddenly Echo was next to me looking at the man, her head tilting to the side and back again. “Who did you inform of our presence?” she asked in a level voice.
The Inn Keeper glared at her, “I told no one of you being here.”
Echo smiled at him and nodded once dismissively. Quicker than I thought possible her hand wrapped around the back of the man’s neck and slammed his face into the desk before jerking his head to the side snapping his neck. My eyes widened in shock. I’ve only seen one other person do that, this isn’t possible. Echo turned to me, “He lied. We have less than twenty minutes. Clean out the register or whatever you call it here.” I was still staring at her as she hopped over the counter and disappeared into the back office.
What the hell just happened? I looked over the counter at the dead man on the floor. How is this possible? If I would have known he lied and reported us I would have killed him myself but still, this isn’t right.
There wasn’t much in the till but it was something. After rummaging behind the counter I found a small collection of weapons. Anything is better than nothing, worst case situation we sell them for crown or trade them. “Princess, we need to go!” I called out loading canteens of water in my pack. “Princess-” I choked on my words as Echo appeared from the back room. She was dressed in clothes of this world; light brown leather pants that looked like a second skin on her, a matching top that exposed her entire mid section, boots, a faded bronze colored cloak and a belt loosely hanging off of one hip with a holstered flintlock resting against her leg.
Echo pulled all of her hair up securing it with a leather tie. “It doesn’t help with the heat but at least I fit in.” She explained while I stared at her in shock. “What?” she demanded.
“You’re dead,” I whispered. Quickly I shook my head, “I mean, he’s dead,” I motioned towards the body on the floor.
She looked at the body and cringed, “Huh. Why did you kill him?” she asked confused.
Is she serious? There is no way she can be serious.
“What are these things?” she asked holding up a pair of goggles.
“In your world they would be considered sunglasses.” She nodded slipping them on and started giggling for some reason. “Let’s go, there is transportation out back.” I waved her towards the back exit. When we got out back I searched for the vehicle.
“What are we looking for?” Echo complained.
And the princess is back, she may look unbelievably sexy like that but she is still a pampered brat. “Transportation, I think I remember seeing a velocipede the last time I was here.”
“I don’t know what a velocipede is, but this looks interesting,” Echo called out. “Are these solar panels?”
Ugh, what shinny trinket caught her attention now? I looked over my shoulder and groaned. “That’s it.” I hurried over and pulled the tarp off of the velocipede and climbed on. Echo looked at me curiously and shook her head. “We don’t have time to argue. It is like a…..electric bike or motorcycle from your world. These mirrors collect light from the suns and produce energy.”
“Cool,” she said climbing on the velocipede behind me, her arms wrapping around my waist, dangerously low, she rested them on my crotch. I moved her hands up higher and she huffed, “You’re no fun.”
I don’t have time to argue so I kicked the ‘bike’ into gear and we sluggishly took off. It was faster than we could walk but still not as fast as I would have liked.
