Why is it that we get soooo addicted to books? I mean sometimes it really feels like you're an addict and will go through withdrawls if you don't get to the ending or sequel fast enough. Any enlightening comments, or is this just me? ~D

LOL I like those kinds of books, i just wish i wrote faster than I already do. But from what my agent, and my writing buddies have told me, i am a literary oddity that writes 1000 times faster than most.

Huh. . . well usually it's just because the book is so enticing and it leaves you on the edge of your seat. I mean, thats the draw in for me. Whenever I'm irritated and annoyed with a book, I'm more likely to read it, so that I can stop being irritated and get on with my life. Mysteries spoil everything for me, and make me feel empty and un-knowledgeable. Thusly, they irritate me. And thusly, I read. I think that's the true key to success in book writing. Causing a strong emotion, no matter what it is. Phew long post.

I get addicted to books, more likely if they're in my hands and not on the computer or ipod screen. Sorry, but i still love to read them on ipod, but dont have any money to buy them.

Oooh I get addicted bad! But the key to it, is that it has to be a really good book for me to get hooked on it. There's gotta be something about it that makes me wanna keep reading. If it's not there, I know it.
